- Naglabas na ng pahayag sina Tito Vic at Joey bilang pagkilala sa kanila na siyang mga rightful owner ng 'Eat Bulaga'

- Si dating Senator Tito Sotto ang naatasang magbasa ng kanilang pahayag sa harap din ng mga abogado nila mula sa Divina Law Office

- Sa naturang presscon din nasabing maari na muli nilang magamit ang pangalang Eat Bulaga subalit sa ngayo'y pag-uusapan pa rin muna nila ito

- May 31 nang gumulantang sa publiko ang pamamaalam nina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey De Leon sa TAPE Inc.

Nagkaroon ng press conference ang E.A.T. na pinangungunahan nina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto at Joey De Leon kaugnay sa ibinaba kahapong desisyon ng intellectual property office, bureau of legal affairs patungkol sa Eat Bulaga.

Doon nasasaad na hindi raw napatunayan ng TAPE kung paano nila nabuo ang "Eat Bulaga" kaya pumabor sa TVJ ang desisyon.

Dahil dito, umaaapaw ang emosyon ng TVJ sa pabor na ito. Narito ang kabuuan ng kanilang opisyal na pahayag:

Thus we TVJ, have the exclusive and absolute right to register the set Marks and all its variations. In this regard, The IPO cancel the trademark registration of tape incorporated over the marks Eat Bulaga and EB. TAPE incorporated failed to prove that they conceptualized Eat Bulaga and EB. it is Joey who coined and created this marks in 1979 in my kitchen in White Plains. In our petition we explained the significance of the design and the origin of each word that comprises Eat bulaga. TAPE incorporated did not even refute or contradict our narration of the origin of the marks in fact they corroborated our claims when they said that Romeo Jalosjos only chose the name Eat Bulaga amongst the list given to him. Thus the IBO finds our position to be believable credible and strong controverting evidence against TAPE’s registration. The IPO took note and recognized Joey's creative efforts in conceptualizing the words Eat Bulaga. In its decision the IPO said that quote it is not the application or the registration that confers the right of registration end of quote. We have sufficiently proven to the IPO that we TVJ are the owners of the word mark. Therefore, as mentioned earlier it is only us and no one else who have all the right to register the subject marks. TAPE incorporated should not be allowed to profit from the business reputation built by TV.J For how many decades TVJ garnered goodwill over the Eat Bulaga brand and the general public even said that TVJ is Eat Bulaga and Eat Bulaga. is TVJ. The IPO 's favorable decision while it is just the beginning is a indeed is indeed a milestone and a welcoming development to our legal claims.
