Actor Coco Martin lives in a resort-like home that is the envy of many. However, despite the grandeur of his posh and modern house, the actor seems to live true to his being ‘Ang Probinsyano’.
Coco Martin’s house is decorated with numerous art pieces. His front door was even designed by the late National Artist Abdul Imao. This goes to show that Coco is someone who is someone who knows how to appreciate art. However, there is more to him than just being an “art lover.”
The award-winning actor’s favorite place is not the located inside the house with elegant interiors; it is outside his provincial oasis – his small farm.
His "favorite place” is where one can find different kinds of vegetables to include eggplant, bitter gourd (ampalaya), pechay, lady’s fingers (okra), and chili. He also grows different kinds of fruit trees to include mangoes and bananas.
To complete his small farm, the actor also built a nipa hut or "bahay kubo."
In his Instagram account, the actor boasted of his sweet escape. He posted several photos of the vegetables that are being grown in his “urban garden” as well as a photo of his nipa hut. To make it more exciting, the actor captioned it with lines that somehow are inspired from the “Bahay Kubo” song itself.
Coco is born as Rodel Luis Nacianceno on November 1, 1981. He was first featured in Indie films, gaining the title "Prince of Philippine Independent Films". He has been to Cannes twice. It was through ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Batch 9 that Coco Martin slowly made a regular appearance and a constant career from his acting. He first appeared in the 2001 film Luv Text. In that movie, however, he was credited under his real name. Since then, he has appeared in several films, teleseryes, and commercials.
