Alex Gonzaga and the waiter identified only as Allan were apparently in good terms now as the waiter himself claimed.

In two photos posted by ABS-CBN on its website, Alex and Allan were seen talking to each other.

The other photo showed a handwritten note dated January 18, 2023, which was supposedly written by Allan saying that the actress went to where he worked and apologized to him.

“Last January 17, 2023 around 6:30pm nasa work po ko pumunta po si Ma'am Alex kung saan po ko nagwowork then nag apologize and nagsorry siya saken tapos konting kwentuhan at sinabi ko po sa kanyang na okay na po yung nangyari. Okay na po kami,” the note read.

The note was signed “Allan Crisostomo.”

According to the ABS-CBN report, the photos were shared by the restaurant where the waiter worked.

Earlier, Inquirer News reported that Peter Ledesma, a publicist friend of the Gonzaga family, claimed that waiter Allan is a friend of Pinty Gonzaga, the mother of Alex, and the Soriano family.

A Philippine Star report also quoted the publicist saying that Alex was not drunk at the time the icing-smearing happened.

Alex is a Pinay actress and comedienne, best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. She is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga.

In an earlier KAMI news article, Ledesma, the publicist friend of the Gonzaga family, shared the waiters' reaction about the issue. According to the showbiz writer, both the waiters and owners of Florabel were confused why the video became a big deal online. He also mentioned that Allan, the waiter in the video, did not want to be interviewed as well. As per Peter, the said issue is not a big deal for Allan, "Kasi wala naman daw sa kanya yung ginawa ni Alex."

Other showbiz news columnists like Cristy Fermin also weighed in on the newest controversy involving Alex in her radio program "Cristy Ferminute." This was after the actress’ family, through showbiz writer Peter Ledesma, released a statement about the viral video of Alex smearing icing on a waiter's face. Cristy then shared her thoughts why the Gonzaga family really needed to issue a statement. As per the veteran showbiz columnist, Alex’s family, their religious beliefs and even Mikee Morada are now being dragged into the issue.
