Kapamilya star Toni Gonzaga bared that she felt bad being the cause of the delay in the airing of the upcoming TV series “Written in our Stars.”

Toni said that her pregnancy is keeping the production from running as originally planned. They have started the tapping for the said Kapamilya series when she found out that she is pregnant to her first child with her husband, Director Paul Soriano.

“Na-feel bad ako for the whole team kasi, first time kong ma-experience na parang feeling ko, ako yung naging cause of delay for everyone,” she admitted in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal.

Despite this, the actress said that her priority will be her baby and she is scheduled to go back to work three months after she has given birth.

“Siyempre, priority ko ang baby ko,” she explained. “May maternity leave naman ako. I’m just asking for the first three months na matutukan ko, ‘yong breastfeeding, gusto kong ma-experience.”

Toni also shared that she feels that being a mother in real life with help her be more effective in portraying her role in the TV series.

During her big announcement on ASAP on April 17, Toni G said that she would continue with her showbiz commitments, but would slow down to savor her pregnancy. She is expected to appear in the upcoming series “Written in our Stars” together with Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, and Jolina Magdangal.

The actress also said that among family and friends, it was her sister Alex Gonzaga who first knew about the pregnancy. Alex, who was also with her when she made the announcement live on TV, wants the couple to have at least five children.

The couple’s baby is said to be the first grandchild in both the Gonzaga and Soriano families.

Paul Soriano and Toni Gonzaga have been in a relationship for 8 years prior to their wedding in July last year.
