The 19-year-old then apologized to his father if he wasn't able to greet him a 'Happy Father's Day'.

Leon explained, “It's always been an awkward day for us cause we never seem to know where we stand with you every year. I've always envied people who never even have to think twice about greeting their dads a 'Happy Father's Day'."

Leon then went on to express his dismay over Dennis’ public statements and posts that shamed him and his sisters.

“For the past 10 years, we have been trying so hard slowly to rebuild the bridge you continuously burn every time you talk about our private matters in your press cons, interviews, and social media. Papa, why does it seem like you enjoy hurting your kids in public? Why do you keep posting cryptic posts about us and allow people to bash us on you own Instagram page? Do you think it does not pain all of us to not feel protected by their own father? It's not that we don't want to talk to you, but the few times that we do not resolve the issues, you communicate by shouting, cursing, and using hurtful words that traumatize us.”

Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia, better known by his screen name Dennis Padilla, is a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor. He was born on February 9, 1962 to the late actor-comedian Prudencio Baldivia and Catalina Baldivia. He is the father of popular actress Julia Barretto. Dennis already has a different family.

In a previous report by KAMI, Dennis Padilla went viral due to his now-deleted posts on June 22. In his posts Dennis said Julia, Claudia and Leon Barretto forgot to greet him on Father’s Day.

Lolit Solis took to social media to pen her frank thoughts on the subject. Manay Lolit said the celebrity father’s sentiment is understandable, yet she believes that young ones are not really fond of greeting adults on special occasions. The entertainment columnist also expressed that Dennis should have not expected greetings from the three since they are living apart.
