The stars of Encantadia remake look ethereal in designer gowns made by Francis Libiran.
Netizens all over the Philippines have rejoiced at the news of the famous Encantadia being remade by GMA 7. Ten years ago, Karylle Tatlong-Hari played ‘Alena,’ Sunshine Dizon as ‘Pirena,’ Iza Calzado as ‘Amihan,’ and Diana Zubiri as ‘Danaya.’
Even if the show aired over a decade ago, people still remember how good Encantadia was as a fantasy teleserye. Now with its upcoming remake, the new cast will have to live up to the people’s expectations. This new show will star Glaiza de Castro as ‘Pirena,’ Kylie Padilla as ‘Amihan,’ Gabbia Garcia as ‘Alena,’ and Sanya Lopez as ‘Danaya.’
The four will play as princesses bestowed with the elemental gems that will give them the power to control fire, air, water, and earth. As princesses, royal gowns made by a world-class designer befits them.
Francis Libiran designed the ethereal and majestic gowns for the four girls. They will be adorning intricate gowns with capes in the color that represent their respective element: red for Pirena, green for Alena, brown for Danaya, and blue for Amihan.
