Is KC Concepcion "laos"?

Actress KC Concepcion received criticisms because she is inactive in the showbiz industry. Here’s how she answered her “laos” criticisms.

Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion or more commonly known as KC Concepcion is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. She has started out as a singer and theater actress before entering the world of showbiz.

Her acting career skyrocketed a few years ago with projects from TV shows like Maaalaala Mo Kaya, Ikaw Lamang, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala and movies like For the First Time, When I Met U, I’ll Be There and many more. KC’s hosting career also blossomed as well and she was give the opportunities events and shows such as The X Factor Philippines, The Buzz, ASAP, Simply KC, Wowowee, Star Circle Quest: The Search for the Next Kiddie Superstars, Binibining Pilipinas, etc.

Lately, however, it can be noted that the actress hasn’t been seen in the spotlight. She doesn’t have any TV show or movie projects recently. KC’s face only shows up in the television when her Palmolive commercial comes out and nothing else besides that.

Some netizens have noticed this as well and they’ve criticized the actress for not having projects. Some have called her outdated and “laos.”

 KC saw these negative comments about her so she decided to answer these allegations with a series of tweets as she defends herself.

On her first tweet on the issue, she questions why people can’t “understand that I love my life right now? Do you have to accept movie or teleserye projects to be able to say u’r “happy?””

KC points out that she focused on the “other aspects” of her life “that money can’t buy.”

Despite not being able to act, she’s grateful for the guesting and hosting opportunities that ABS-CBN has given her.

She added that it was her “choice to step back” because she made time for her other priorities.

Finally, she shows her appreciation to her fans for sticking with her until the end.
