It’s confirmed! Baron Geisler and indie actor Kiko Matos will face-off in a cage.
The two actors accepted the invitation of Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC). In a Facebook post, URCC announced that Geisler accepted the fight with Matos in June.
In an earlier post, Kiko Matos got in touch with the promoter of URCC agreeing with the fight with Baron Geisler. The post added that Matos will start training as soon as Geisler confirmed.
The two were the subjects of a new viral video of a brawl. The video became viral over the weekend. The two were in Tomatokick in Tomas Morato trying to shake hands, but Matos attacked Baron enraging the actor. According to reports, Baron called out Matos for allegedly disrespecting one of the servers in the bar.
In an interview with News 5, Baron called out Matos threatening him saying, “Magkita tayo sa mata. Pagod ako. Pagod na pagod ako. Pero sige. Ikaw, Kiko Matos, magkita tayo sa mata. Mahal kita, pero bibigwasan kita. Isa lang. Magkita tayo." (Let's see each other in person. I'm tired. I'm so tired. But okay. You, Kiko Matos, let's see each other in person. I love you, but I'm going to hit you. Just one. Let's see each other.)
Matos answered saying, “Face me. Don’t Facebook Me.”
The fight is set on June 25 at the Valkyrie, the Palace, Uptown BGC. Tickets will be on sale on Monday, June 6.
