Lolit Solis penned a commentary on the news that Jake Cuenca was apprehended by cops for allegedly driving away after bumping a police car.

Later on, it was revealed to Bandera by a person close to Jake that the actor was innocent and that he only drove away out of fear because the undercover cops were wearing civilian clothes. While shooting at the wheel of Jake’s vehicle, one cop accidentally shot a grab rider, who was later sent to the hospital for treatment of his gunshot wound.
Lolit believes that Jake and the cops will be able to move on from what happened without much difficulty. However, she expressed her concern for the grab rider because his health and job got affected by what happened.
The entertainment columnist also expressed her realization that life is truly unpredictable.

“Imagine mo na nagda drive ng kotse niya si Jake Cuenca, magkaruon ng disgrasya , at heto ang isang inosenteng rider na tatamaan ng ligaw na bala ng mga pulis na gustong pahintuin ang kotse ni Jake. Si Jake Cuenca, puwede ipagtanggol ang sarili, ang mga pulis, kayang lusutan ng paliwanag ang nangyari, pero iyon inosente rider, paano na?
