KC Concepcion pens heartfelt message to “dad” Kiko Pangilinan on his VP candidacy

KC Concepcion has taken to social media to pen a heartfelt post dedicated to her stepfather, Sen. Francis Kiko Pangilinan, after he filed his certificate of candidacy for vice president in the 2022 elections.

In an Instagram post, the female celebrity posted a couple of throwback photos. The first photo shows KC, Kakie, Sen. Kiko, Miel and Sharon Cuneta while the other one shows the actress with her stepfather who was donning a graduation toga.
In the caption, KC wrote, “Your love for family and country is genuine and true. Thank you for all the things that you do. This is our family’s biggest milestone yet…”
“Dad, whatever the outcome, let the welfare of others be your motivation and strength.”

She then went on to share some of Kiko’s credentials.
“A Harvard alumnus. A UP and La Salle raised lawyer. An Ateneo professor. 20 years of serving the people as Senator.”
“You deserve my vote and the Vote of the People. May God bless the long journey towards becoming the next Vice President of the Philippines. Mahal kita.”
In the comment section, Kiko replied, “Thank you for the love and support, my eldest. It means so much. God's purpose not mine. We surrender the effort to the Almighty. The battle is His. Love you too.”
Kiko is Vice President Leni Robredo's running mate for Halalan 2022. He will run for Vice President in next year's elections.
KC Concepcion is a Filipina actress, designer and entrepreneur. She is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta with premier actor Gabby Concepcion. She recently posted a short clip of her date night with her dad. They had dinner and she was clearly very happy.
KC took to Instagram and allowed her followers to ask her about anything. One follower asked who among her siblings is her favorite. The actress replied that she does not play favorites because having favorites can ruin families. She revealed though that there are some who try to be closer to her, but just the same, she loves them all.
In her recent vlog with her sister, KC revealed the one thing that her father has taught her. She was asked by her sister Samantha Alexis, what is the one important thing that Gabby Concepcion taught her when they were younger. KC then said that Gabby would always talk to her about family. She then recounted how Gabby would always let her know who the members of their family are and also that they would be always there for each other as sisters.
