Aiko Melendez, 45, has finally filed her Certificate of Candidacy as she is returning to public service once more.
On Wednesday, October 6, KAMI learned that Aiko also announced her departure from GMA-7’s hit prime series, Prima Donnas.
In her post, Aiko began by clarifying why she is entering public service once more after serving as the Councilor of the 2nd District of Quezon City for nine years.

According to Aiko, she has studied very hard during her time as a councilor, and that she did not leave anything bad in Quezon City.
At the end of her post, Aiko reiterated that during her time as a councilor, there was no issue about any corruption.
