In an Instagram post, Arnold clarified that the viral post is fabricated.

“Hindi ko na po matiis. Ilang beses na rin na pabalik-balik sa akin ang post na ito. Sasabihin ko na po na ito ay malinaw na fake news.”
“Pls visit @gmanews on line pr FB page para di kayo naliligaw.”

“Ang nakakagulat maraming naniwala sa sektor ng mga siklista,” he said.

“Common sense Team Bulalo, sa caption pa lang ‘long ride’ tapos huwag lalayo?”

“Kaya pakiusap, huwag na pong ikalat. @piaarcangel,” he added.

Arnold Clavio is a Kapuso broadcaster. He is also popularly known as "Igan." He has risen to prominence in the broadcasting field and is now one of the most sought-after broadcasters in the country.

Earlier, Arnold and Mocha Uson both had intense social media posts against each other. Their exchange of fiery remarks came after Senator Bong Go posted his photos with President Rodrigo Duterte amid claims that the President had mild heart attack. The GMA news anchor shared Instagram posts suggesting that those photos were fabricated. Mocha then took to her Facebook page to take a swipe at Arnold, which the Kapuso reporter immediately responded to.

Jose Manalo was got victimized by fake news on social media. A death hoax about him circulated earlier which caught the attention of Arnold Clavio. The Kapuso news anchor then took to IG to debunk the said hoax. According to Arnold, he was able to talk to the “Eat Bulaga” host and Jose also has a reaction to the fake news.
