Newlyweds Kris Bernal and Perry Choi opted for a helicopter ride after their wedding.

The couple got married at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Church in Makati.

The event was well-planned, from the bridal vehicles to the decorations at the church, which was filled with thousands of sunflowers along the aisle and on the altar itself.

The actress has made no secret of the fact that sunflowers are her favorite.

As regards their wedding vehicles, Kris opted to go unconventional.

Instead of a regular bridal car that would take her to the church, she opted for an FJ Cruiser.

After the wedding, the newlyweds’ bridal vehicle was a helicopter.

They even enjoyed a helipad and helicopter photoshoot before boarding the aircraft.

While the post-wedding bridal vehicle is nothing new, it is still uncommon even in today’s times.

As the chopper slowly rose from the helipad, Kris and Perry waved to the onlookers below.
