Derek Ramsay, 44, and Ellen Adarna, 33, have made headlines on social media after their families finally had a big get-together in Siargao.

In his latest Instagram post, KAMI learned that the 44-year-old actor expressed his happiness over their recent 'pamamanhikan' trip.

It can be worth recalling that back on March 30, Derek proposed to Ellen about a month after publicly confirming their relationship.

Following this news, the celebrity couple has stirred buzz on social media after their families finally had the chance to bond with one another.

In his post, Derek went and complimented Ellen's family, "@maria.elena.adarna you have a beautiful family," he began.

"Mamanhikan is such a beautiful Filipino tradition and I'm so happy we were able to get our families together before our big day," Derek wrote.

He then included several photos of their families together as well as sweet and adorable photos he took with Ellen and her son, Elias Modesto.

The said post also elicited several comments and reactions from netizens with some stating how perfect the two are for each other.
