The bashers slammed Angel for expressing her support for the healthcare workers who are on strike due to not getting the promised extra pay for them amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Lolit, Angel should not be bashed for expressing her support because this issue could affect many Filipinos.

Lolit agrees that the healthcare workers should be paid the promised amount because they are risking their lives as frontliners.

“Iyon sinasabi ng marami na dapat hindi sumawsaw si Angel Locsin sa issue ng mga health workers Salve, parang unfair naman.

“Dapat nga pasalamat sila na sumawsaw si Angel Locsin dahil hindi lang ito issue ng mga health worker, issue ito ng bayan.

“Imagine mo kung talagang itutuloy nila ang strike dahil nga sa hindi natupad na mga pangako sa kanila sa panahon ngayon na ang daming maysakit at kulang ang manpower sa mga hospital. Imagine mo ang gulo kung sakali at magkulang mga magtra trabaho ngayon sa mga hospital at clinic.

“Grabe. Kasi nga pag ipinangako na, tuparin at ibigay. Ok lang sana kundi nangako at hindi inasahan iyon promise nila. In fairness, dapat talaga na priority ngayon mga health workers dahil talagang sila ang pinaka frontline defense natin.
