The siblings of Mahal, in KMJS, revealed what their sister went through before she passed away.

According to Lany Tesorero, they themselves were taken by surprise when they found out that she was sick.

"Kuwento po sa amin ng manger ni Mahal at ni Mygz, mayroon daw ubo at sipon. Ang sabi naman ni Mahal okay lang siya. After 3 days po parang hindi na normal, ngayon dinala na nila sa ospital," narrated Jason, the brother of the comedienne.

He then recounted how her oxygen levels dropped. This has been one of the most common symptoms of COVID-19.

On the same day, she was tested for COVID-19, through an antigen testing, and it was there that she tested positive.

Lany then narrated that when she learned that her Ate Mahal was sick, she immediately went to Batangas. She said that she would bring her to Quezon City.

Mahal is a comedienne. She is known for her cute voice and would always star alongside Mura, her onscreen partner.

The comedienne has passed away on Aug. 31, Tuesday. This was revealed by her sister in the U.S., Irene, through a Facebook post. According to Irene, Mahal died due to digestive complications and COVID-19. The comedienne was suffering from dwarfism and stood 3-feet tall.

Irene Tesorero, the sister of comedienne Mahal revealed in a Facebook post that the cause of death of her sister is COVID-19. She said that there is no schedule yet for the burial of the comedienne due to COVID-19 restrictions. Mahal recently visited her long-time onscreen "partner" Mura and even signified that she would be helping him. She was also affected by the situation of Mura and said that she will be helping him.
