Paolo Contis was interviewed by a group of reporters about his Netflix movie with Yen Santos entitled “A Faraway Land,” as reported by The Philippine Star.

“Kapag nagmahal ka, itodo mo na. You don’t know kung kailan ka mawawala sa mundo. You don’t know when you’re gonna get a second opportunity in life.
“Pero sabi ko nga, di mo alam kung kailan ka tatamaan ng love. Kapag tinamaan ka, it’s your decision, whether to do the right decision or the wrong decision, kung talagang makikinig ka sa puso at yun ang natutunan ko kay Nico. Hindi lang sa love, dapat sa lahat ng bagay, dapat itodo mo,” Paolo said.
This interview was published today by The Philippine Star, days after his ex-girlfriend LJ Reyes revealed to Boy Abunda that she and Paolo broke up because the latter’s behavior changed for the worse, as reported by the Manila Bulletin.
Rappler also reported about LJ’s interview with Boy, particularly about the actress being the one to formally end her romance with Paolo, which contradicted Lolit Solis’s claim that the breakup was mutual.
Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian of Italian descent who appeared in his acting debut as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show "Ang TV". He was born on March 14, 1984. Contis is half-Italian (from his father) and half-Filipino (from his mother). He was a popular child actor where he already appeared in various movies during the mid-1990s. Despite being cast in the popular teleserye "Mara Clara", Contis was better known for being part of the primetime sitcom "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-girlfriends include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.
