Lolit Solis, 74, has finally aired her honest thoughts over Cristy Fermin's controversial "wala pong kahihiyan" statement towards Jinkee Pacquiao.

Previously, Jinkee made headlines when her outfit during Manny Pacquiao's fight in Las Vegas caught the attention of netizens due to its alleged P1.5 million price tag.

Following this news, KAMI learned that the veteran writer said that she understood where both sides were coming from and even mentioned that Cristy had a point as well.

According to Lolit, while she understands where Cristy was coming from, constructive criticism should have been practiced.

"Dapat lang naman kasi constructive ang sasabihin mo, huwag iyon tipo na para bang sobra ng bastos ang pagpuna. Sabi nga ni Sharon Cuneta wala dapat explain si Jinkee sa buhay niya ngayon, dahil sa malinis na paraan naman nila nakuha ang anuman ang ginagamit niya.
"Ang hindi nga lang nagandahan si Atty. Bruce dahil Senador si Manny Pacquiao. Kung minsan naman tao lang ang nagbibigay malisya, hindi naman sinabi ni Mama Jinkee na ganito kamahal ang suot ko, ganito ang presyo nito."

She then went on to emphasize that nowadays, such prices and luxury brands are the norms for the likes of Jinkee.

"Sa totoo lang, ano ba problema dun, eh sa panahon ito ordinaryo na para sa isang Jinkee Pacquiao ang mga tatak na Hermes, LV o Prada. Baka pagpili niya ng susuotin, kinuha lang sa closet at iyon ang nakuha?
"Saka aminin natin, sa status ni Jinkee tiyak na marami sa gamit niya regalo ng fans nilang mag asawa, o friends. Like si Dra. Vicki Belo sure ako na madalas magbigay ng bag kay Jinkee, or si Manny mismo ang madalas bumili ng mamahalin gamit ng asawa."

However, in her post, Lolit said that Cristy also had a point to make regarding Jinkee's viral OOTD, "Tama rin si Cristy at Atty. Bruce, medyo hinay hinay muna ang paggamit ng mamahalin dahil nga pandemic.

"Pero hindi mo naman dapat husgahan kung marami siyang gamit. Buhay mo, buhay ko na lang ang gawin motto. Kung ano gusto niya, o sinuman, hayaan natin. Kanya kanyang trip lang iyan," Lolit wrote.
