Aldrin Paulo "Dunoo" Pangan, a Filipino Dota caster, passed away on August 27 due to COVID-19, bringing a sense of deep sadness among other Dota casters.

It was TNC Predator, who made the announcement on Facebook.

"It is with a heavy heart that we inform everyone about the passing of one of our beloved shoutcasters," said TNC.

The post regarded Dunoo as one of the casters who brought the Dota scene, into what it is at present.

He is also known as "Kuya D" to many of his friends, fans and colleagues.

Pangan narrated on FB how Dunoo battled with COVID-19.

The famous caster experienced severe coughing and body pains.

Many of his friends say that he is really true to his friends and he was such an amazing guy.

An Australian caster also gave a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Filipino caster.

"A Filipino casting legend and also a genuinely kind, amazing friend over the years. Welcomed me to Manila every time I visited like a brother. Just sadness," said David "GoDz" Parker Twitter.

"Your legacy will always remain as the best caster for all of us and one of the best friend that we can ever have," said Nico `Nazario, LuponWXC founder.
