Last Sunday’s episode of “The Voice” showed coach Sharon Cuneta does a 360 with her chair!
Prior to the newest season of “The Voice Kids,” Sharon received criticisms when she was announced to be Sarah Geronimo’s replacement for the show. Netizens have ranted that things wouldn’t be the same; some have questioned her credibility to coach the kids.
Megastar’s bashers have also used her weight to insult the coach saying that the chair might not even turn. They were proven wrong, however, when on last May 29’s episode, Sharon’s chair turned 360 degrees!
The little boy, Noel’s rendition of “Can this be love?” got coach Lea Salonga to press her red button and her chair turned around so she could see the singer. When Noel sang the chorus, Sharon Cuneta also pressed her button and her chaired turned around… but it didn’t stop. She turned 360 degrees and she went back to her original position.
The audience and fellow coaches laughed at what happened, even coach Sharon herself. Bamboo even asked if she already changed her mind. The button didn’t work when Sharon tried to press it again so she just knelt on her chair to face the little boy.
Noel’s father even asked what will happen now that Sharon’s chair exceeded its supposed turn. The host Luis “Lucky” Manzano joked: “Pag ka sumobra po, disqualified.” (If it exceeds, disqualified.)
After singing, Lea asked for Sharon’s chair to be fixed. Sharon, being a new coach, quipped: “Ano ito initiation?” (What is this, an initiation?)
The coaches also mentioned that this is the first time that has ever happened in “The Voice Philippines” and “The Voice Kids Philippines.”
Sharon also shared: “Sabi ng basher ko baka raw hindi gumalaw ang silya tignan mo gumaang ako kasi dalawang beses umikot.” (My basher told me that my chair might not turn, but look I lost weight because it turned twice.)
