In a press conference to endorse a clothing brand, Sandara Park expressed her interest to shoot a comedy film with Vice Ganda.
According to ABS-CBN news, the pop star said: "Gusto ko si Vice Ganda. Gusto ko gumawa kami ng comedy movie. 'Di ba, bagay kami? Krung krung din siya."
(I like Vice Ganda. I want us to make a comedy film. Don't we look good together? We're both crazy.)
Vice Ganda, a celebrated comedian in the Philippines, has starred in as series of blockbuster films such as "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" and "Beauty and the Bestie."
After leaving Philippine show business, Sandara made a name for herself as Dara in the globally acclaimed South Korean girl group named 2NE1.
However, she says that she does not consider herself as a superstar in South Korea since she doesn't go out often.
She said in the same report: "Pero pagdating ko dito sa Pilipinas, sa airport pa lang, feeling ko I'm home. Kasi pagbaba ko pa lang ng plane, ang dami nang tumatawag sa akin, so parang, wow, I'm back."
(But when I came back to the Philippines, I already felt I was home the moment I arrived in the airport. When I got off the plane, a lot of people were calling me. I was like, wow, I'm back.)
Sandara is not the only South Korean star who visited the Philippines this month. "Boys Over Flowers" actor Lee Min Ho visited Filipino fans in a series of meet and greet.
