'Legal Wives' actor Abdul Raman decided to use his social media platform in order to ask for financial aid for his sick mother.

According to the actor, his mother was brought to the hospital after suffering from a cerebrovascular accident or in layman's term, a stroke.

The result of her magnetic resonance imaging showed a blood clot in her brain which was why she had to undergo brain surgery.

"Yesterday my mom had a stroke and was immediately brought to 3 hospitals [since] the first 2 were overcapacity. After the CT scan na laman po namin na may namuo na pong blood clot sa ulo niya."
"Just today natapos na po operation niya sa ulo and everything went well, but according to the doctor due to the nature of the operation in the head, she will never be the same as before."

The young actor proceeded to share his GCash QR code for anyone who is willing to donate funds for his mother's hospital bill.

"I am desperate and in dire need of everyone's help who is willing po, and I am willing to sell my personal belongings to pay for the hospital bills."

Abdul Raman is an actor and model of Filipino and Egyptian descent. He began his showbiz career when he joined GMA's reality talent contest StarStruck in 2019. He is known for his roles in the films, 'Magpakailanman', 'Pepito Manaloto' and 'Dear Uge'. He also portrayed the role of Hammad in the television drama series, 'Legal Wives'.

Divine Lee took to Instagram and posted a series of photos that showed her at a hospital in Cebu. She was at the Chong Hua Hospital-Fuente in Cebu City because of a condition called placenta previa. The mom revealed in her post that her condition has was not yet been fully determined, which is why she would be having an MRI.

KAMI also reported that Ate Gay guested in a vlog by fellow comedian, Boobay, for the latter's YouTube channel. In the video, Ate Gay recalled the hardships he had to face when he got sick with a rare skin condition. According to Ate Gay, his illness was so severe that his family had to assist him in the hospital.
