Although he did not mention GMA Network, several personalities from GMA felt the director was alluding to the network.

“Walang silbi ang franchise kung shows ay basura,” Direk Andoy said.

For Jaclyn, the director meant nothing else but GMA.

“Wala naman may ibang franchise na halata kung hindi 7,” said Jaclyn, who used the number 7 to denote GMA7 Network.

She lamented the director’s statement as unfair as everyone in GMA, including herself, work hard to give the public a program they would enjoy.

She also reiterated that everyone involved in a project work hard and all are on point.

One of her closest friends and fellow veteran actress, Sandy Andolong de Leon, who must not have heard of the issue, then commented if everything was alright with Jaclyn.

Jaclyn then told her about what happened.

“@sandy_andolong_de_leon my nag sabi kasi na director na may franchise nga basura naman..( i think body of work) la naman may iba franchise na halata kung d 7,” Jaclyn replied.

Direk Andoy still has to make a statement or clarification on the issue.
