Pia Wurtzbach recently shared a couple of surprising pieces of information regarding her health on her Instagram Story.
The beauty queen bravely revealed that she was diagnosed as having high cholesterol and lactose intolerance which came as a shock as she lives a healthy lifestyle.
A look at her Instagram account would reveal that Pia regularly exercises and eats healthily. Even her appearance and body simply radiate health.

To raise awareness, the actress decided to share her medical condition. Pia warned the public that one cannot tell the health of a person by simply looking at their outward appearance.
"Starting the day with a good workout. Akalain mo yun mataas daw cholesterol ko kaya eto double time na sa pag seseryoso. Kahit naman anong itsura mo sa panlabas eh kung mataas cholesterol mo paano na? I learned that consistency is key sa pagiging healthy. Hindi phases, hindi taas baba, dapat lifestyle na talaga sya at hindi pagnakatingin lang si kuya LOL kaya ko to"
"Also found out last year that I'm lactose intolerant pala. Ang tagal kong tintry ifigure out kung bakit laging namimilipit ako sa sakit tuwing umiinom ako ng kape. Yung milk pala sayang kasi love na love ko kumain ng dairy products lalo na ng cheeses but oh well. Kung ayaw na ng katawan mo ganon talaga haha.."
However, Pia remains positive and opined that some of the things she is currently facing can be reversed as long as she puts in enough effort.
"And I'm sharing this to let you guys know na minsan wala talaga sa panlabas na itsura yung kalagayan ng katawan mo. Listen to your body, make the necessary changes and your health will improve. Some of these challenges are reversible"
