Toni Gonzaga shared her wisdom during a recent interview by Wil Dasovich for his podcast and YouTube channel.

The popular vlogger opined that celebrities who turn to politics are quite common in the Philippines. He then asked Toni whether she has any plans to run for office which the actress answered with candor.

According to Toni, she currently does not see herself as a politician. Nevertheless, she also explained that one cannot know what will happen in the future.

"I don't see myself in politics right now or any time soon. But I don't wanna say... never say never, diba?"

When Wil asked her, "So it's open?", the celebrity mom answered that she really doesn't see herself as a politician.

"In my heart right now, I don't feel like that is something that I should be doing."

Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano, known professionally as Toni Gonzaga, is a singer, television personality, actress, talk show host, vlogger, and entrepreneur from the Philippines. She married her longtime boyfriend, director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015 and gave birth to her first child, Severiano Elliott, on September 30, 2016.

In the same interview, Toni also tackled the topic of 'cancel culture' which is a prevailing practice of netizens calling out celebrities on social media and then withdrawing their support. The actress bravely admitted that she has been subjected to such treatment over the course of her show business career.
