Ai-Ai delas Alas has recently taken to social media to debunk fake news claiming that she already passed away.
According to the said hoax published in a YouTube video, the comedienne died due to diabetes.
“Sa totoo lang mga gago gumagawa nito ... na stress ate ko dito atsaka iba kong friends sa abroad ano ba napapala nyo sa pag gawa ng ganito ???pampadami ng views.. ( sa ganitong paraan ???kung ano ano nalang namatay daw ako sa sakit na diabetes..” Ai-Ai said in an Instagram post
“5 years na ko walang sugar sa katawan except fruits and coco sugar,” she clarified.
Ai-Ai also asked her followers not to subscribe to the YouTube channel circulating the fake news.

Ai-Ai delas Alas is an award-winning actress and comedienne who gained more popularity after starring in “Ang Tanging Ina” as Ina Montecillo. She is now married to a non-showbiz guy named Gerald Sibayan, who is a pilot.
Earlier, the comedienne also caught the attention of netizens when she reacted to the fake news about her supposedly dying after the vehicle she was riding was allegedly shot multiple times.
Recently, Ai-Ai and Gerald showed netizens how they work out as a couple. The actress uploaded a video of her and Gerald performing modified push-ups in their house. The exercise was difficult but Ai-Ai kept on pushing and fighting through. She also expressed her joy that she was finally able to convince Gerald to do a TikTok video.
