Pokwang has recently taken to social media to share some glimpses of her first-ever acting project as a Kapuso.

In an Instagram post, the comedienne posted a video of her inviting her followers to catch this Saturday’s “Magpakailanman” episode starring her.
She likewise posted a couple of photos giving sneak peeks of the said drama anthology show’s upcoming episode.
“Narito ang unang pasilip sa karakter ni Pokwang sa episode na 'Nanay Kontesera'. Abangan 'yan ngayong Sabado, July 10, sa Magpakailanman,” she wrote in the caption.

Pokwang, or Marietta Subong in real life, is a Filipino comedian, actress, television host and singer. She was born on August 27, 1970. The actress started out as a reality star on ABS-CBN and eventually appeared in dramas and sitcoms of the network. She also received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club for her portrayal in the sitcom "Aalog-Alog" and the Best Female Comedian award from People's Choice Awards.
Just last month, GMA warmly welcomed the talented celebrity to the network. She signed a contract with GMA Artist Center on June 18. Pokwang then took to Twitter to express how grateful she is for the opportunity to share her talent anew.
Earlier, one of Pokwang’s TikTok video has put smiles on netizens’ faces. In the said video, which she also shared on Instagram, Pokwang could be seen dancing gracefully to the music. Malia, who was behind the comedienne in the video, was also caught staring at her mom.
