Direk Cathy and JLC, along with Bea Alonzo and “I Miss You Like Crazy” Star Cinema Creative Director, Vanessa Valdez, who also wrote the story, were among the guests in an interview with ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project head Leo Katigbak.

The five were discussing the hit movie “Miss You Like Crazy,” which was also recently digitally restored and made part of the Sagip Pelikula Festival that aired starting June 29.

During the interview, Leo Katigbak asked which of the scenes in the movie really made an impact on them or they found difficult to implement.

“Well favorite ko talaga yung pagkikita nila sa park kasi ang ganda ganda talaga ng acting ng dalawa dyan,” Vanessa said

“Ang galing ni John Lloyd doon!” Bea chimed in.

The actress then said she was even intimidated by JLC’s acting.

“Sa totoo lang feeling ko doon ako pinakahirapan! Kasi sobrang naintimidate ako sa ibinigay niya! Una pa lang kasing shot, nasabi ko ‘OMG ang galing ni John Lloyd!” Bea said.

It was at this point that Direk Cathy said that even Malaysians were awed by JLC’s performance.

“Sabi ko kay John Lloyd 'buwisit ka! bakit ganun kagaling?’ and then sabi niya, 'eh hiningi mo eh!'" Direk Cathy revealed.

In a most joking and loving manner, the multi-awarded director also said: “Mayabang din itong taong to eh! Kabuwisit!”

Direk Cathy then went on to elaborate on how she and the actors do things.

“Kasi ganyan yang mga iyan, Leo, they would ask 'Direk, how do you want me to do this?' So ang dami ko'ng sinabi. Eh naibigay! Tas sinabi ko parang 'paano? Bakit?' Tas sabi niya, 'yun hiningi mo, diba?' kayabang ding tao neto!” Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina said.

John Lloyd just listened and meekly smiled all throughout the exchange.
