The basher said:
"Maging considerate ka naman sa feelings ni John Lloyd Cruz... Nasa iyo na nga si Ellen pati ba naman si Elias."
This must have not sounded well for Derek since he also responded and told the basher that he has no plans or is trying to replace JLC in Elias's life.
"Sorry but that's such an awful thing to say. JL and I have no issues. He is a great father to Elias and I am not trying to replace him as the father of Elias. Ellen is my fiancee and I love both of them very much."
