James Yap, nag-post ng pasasalamat sa yumaong PNoy: "Thank you for being nice to me"

- The ex-husband of Kris Aquino, James Yap, took to Instagram and posted a message for Former President Noynoy Aquino

- He thanked PNoy for being nice to him without further elaborating

- The popular basketball player also added at the last portion of his message that PNoy will be missed

- In his post, he addressed his message to the former president but there was no mention of his ex-wife

James Yap took to Instagram and gave a message to the deceased Former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

He thanked the Kuya of his ex-wife for being nice to him and said that PNoy will be missed.

"Rest in peace President Noynoy Aquino. Thank you for being nice to me. You will be missed."

He posted a photo of PNoy with the Presidential seal clearly visible behind the former president.

Aquino was the 15th President of the Philippines. He ran for office after the death of his mother former Pres. Cory Aquino. His "Daang Matuwid" was the slogan of his term.

Former Pres. Noynoy Aquino died at the age of 61 on June 24, Thursday. He was rushed to the hospital but later died for still an undisclosed reason. A report from Rappler revealed that the former President has recently undergone a heart operation. He has also been battling various illnesses and had undergone dialysis for five months.

Vice President Leni Robredo expressed her grief over the passing of Former President Noynoy Aquino. Robredo stated that it has broken her heart upon learning that PNoy has passed. According to Robredo, Noynoy tried to do what was right, even though that it was not popular. She also said that Noynoy was silent but untiring when it comes to working to help many Filipinos.
