Lolit Solis recently took to social media to air her thoughts on Arjo Atayde’s possible bid for Quezon City Congress.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the entertainment columnist said she sees no problem with Arjo entering politics, although he is only 30 years old.
Aside from that, Lolit believes that the actor’s loved ones, including Sylvia Sanchez and Maine Mendoza, will surely get his back.
“Kung sakali pala at matuloy si Arjo Atayde na tumakbo sa election as congressman Salve, parang ang bata pa niya. Pero kung talagang gusto niya ang pulitika, why not ? Malaking tulong na suportado siya ng mga magulang na sila Art Atayde at Sylvia Sanchez. At bongga kung sasama sa kanyang kampanya si Maine Mendoza.”

“Wala naman sa edad iyan kung talagang gusto maglingkod sa bayan, tignan mo ang magandang record ni Mayor Vico Sotto at mga batang pulitiko. Mas maganda nga pag bata dahil mas may energy at iba ang vision kesa sa matatanda na naka set na ang mga mata sa makaluma na paraan of governance. Iba rin ang wisdom ng mga bata, kaya nga madalas sabihin ng marami na dapat bata na lahat ng namamahala, kaya puwede may chance si Arjo Atayde na maging congressman. Well, lucky charm niya tiyak si Maine Mendoza.”

Arjo Atayde is a versatile Kapamilya actor. Last year, he won Best Actor at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards for his role in “Bagman”. He is the son of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and the boyfriend of Maine Mendoza.
Maine delivered encouraging words to Arjo as he renews his contract with ABS-CBN. During the contract signing, Arjo got surprised when his girlfriend’s tape message was played. In her message, the “Eat Bulaga” host congratulated her beau and expressed how proud she is because of his achievements.
A few months ago, Maine went on a yacht getaway together with her boyfriend, Arjo. She posted some gorgeous photos on social media taken from their quick vacation.
