Both of them were wearing swimsuits and posing for the camera.
One body-shamer then pointed out that Kakai has gotten fat.
"Hala tumaba talaga c @ilovekaye.."
The netizen also added, "Noon... pero ok na lang awrahan na lang."
This did not sit well with the comedienne who then said, "Sinasabe mo bang di s*xy ang mataba? Nakakaawa ka kung ganun."
The netizen then clarified her stance and said that she was just surprised to see the rare photo.
"Ang laki ng difference mo noon at ngayon."
Kakai then replied:
"Pag totoong masaya ka, wala ka nang ibang pakialam kundi ang kasiyahan mo, hindi ang sasabihin ng mga tao."

Kakai Bautista took to Instagram and posted a hugot amid the issue that the camp of Mario Maurer hurled at her. She posted about setting the bar high and that if people don't get it, then it is not their problem anymore. It can be recalled that the camp of Mario Maurer sent a cease and desist letter to Kakai, telling her to stop making inference or using Mario's name. Along with the letter, they attached alleged "evidences" of previous inferences used by the comedienne.
She posted about positivity and faith in God amid the issues that hound her and Mario Maurer. She noted that a positive mind leads a positive life. The comedienne added that it is not a sin to be positive amid an awful situation. She also noted that having faith in oneself and in the world is not wrong, noting that in Filipino slang, it is called "lavaarn."
