Marian Rivera and her husband, actor Dingdong Dantes recently had their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine against COVID-19.
As popular celebrities share their vaccination stories on social media, some people have now decided to get inoculated as well.
One such story recently went viral on Twitter. A netizen posted a story of how his mother finally acquiesced to get her shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. According to the netizen who goes by the name, Carlo, he was surprised by his mother's decision as his previous explanations regarding the vaccine did not move her to get inoculated. His mother was apparently convinced to get her shot because Marian got her jab of the vaccine.

Marian herself has shared the adorable tweet on her Instagram story and simply wrote "Awww". However, Carlo revealed in another tweet that the actress reached out to him and his mother which obviously delighted the netizen and his mom.
"Marian was kind enough to send me a message and say hi to my mom. Kaya ayun kilig na kilig."

Marian Rivera Gracia-Dantes is an actress, recording artist and model of Spanish and Filipino descent. She is known for her lead roles in teleseryes like 'Darna', 'MariMar', 'Dyesebel', 'Endless Love' and 'Amaya'. She is married to her on-screen partner, actor Dingdong Dantes.
KAMI also reported that Dingdong Dantes and Marian have received their first COVID-19 vaccine doses. On Independence Day, the actor proudly shared that he and his wife got China’s Sinovac vaccines. They were among those in the A4 category who took part in a vaccination event in Taguig Read.
Marian and Dingdong also went viral for getting vaccinated against COVID-19. There were some netizens who accused the celebrity couple of cutting in line to get the vaccine quicker. A netizen uploaded a photo where Dingdong and Marian can be seen in the picture patiently lining up to get vaccinated.
