PH stars react to the Close up Forever Summer tragedy

Philippine stars and celebrities have reacted and expressed their sadness over the Close up Forever Summer tragedy that happened last May 22, 2016 where five attendees died.

Netizens all over the country were shocked after hearing the tragic news from last Sunday’s supposedly fun party. Five Forever Summer attendees died during the event and were found dead on different parts of Mall of Asia arena concert grounds.

Many have theorized that it was either the five took illegal drugs or that the ‘free water’ that was passed around during the event were laced with illegal substances that caused these five their deaths. While there are no final conclusions yet on the matter, these stars and celebrities have voiced out their opinions on the matter.

Kapamilya star and actor of “The Story of Us,” shared in an interview to stop “over-partying and be smart”. He advises partygoers to not only think about themselves but also think about their parents when staying out late.

Jericho Rosales also gives advice against taking illegal drugs, especially by minors. He also admitted that he used to also do drugs, but he “got out of it and it was because of good friends.” He urges festivals to be stricter and be more responsible when it comes to ensuring that minors aren’t doing drugs.

Actor Ping Medina, shares his condolences to the families who are now grieving their losses. In his post that has been deleted, he blames the “pa-cool kids” for spiking the drinking water. He even used a few expletives to drive home his point.
