Julia Barretto’s family may fill her with love and affection but the actress still can’t fight her feelings and longing for boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

This was proven when the actress posted a photo of Gerald Anderson and wrote a very sweet, longing caption.
At the moment, the actress is in a hotel in Subic, Zambales, doing a lock-in taping for her TV5 series, “Di na Muli.”
Her longing for Gerald’s presence beside her is perhaps what prompted Julia to post the photos of the actor.
In the photos that Julia posted on her IG Stories, Gerald can be seen lying on his side and beside him is their very cute dog.
The next photo is a close-up shot of the couple's dog, displaying a very adorable look.
Julia then wrote a single-word caption, complete with emojis, on the two photos, proof that she really misses Gerald.
“Missing…” was all Julia wrote, yet it conveyed a message of true and deep longing. She also included a sad face emoji, as well as a heart-eyes and heart emojis.
It is not only Julia that feels lonely without her loved one beside her as Gerald felt the same way too.
Two days ago, the actor traveled all the way to Subic just to see Julia. While the two did not come close to each other because of health and safety protocols, at least they got to see and shout at each other.

Julia Barretto, or Julia Francesca Barretto Baldivia in real life, is a Philippine actress, model, and product endorser. She was born on March 10, 1997 to actor-comedian Dennis Padilla and actress Marjorie Barretto. Julia has two siblings, Leon and Claudia, and half-sisters Dani and Erich. Julia rose to fame after she portrayed the lead role in ABS-CBN’s TV series "Kokey". She also starred in the 2014 melodrama fantasy series, "Mirabella".

Julia’s personal life is far from perfect as she has a bittersweet relationship with his father, Dennis Padilla. The rift between them was, perhaps, so deep that the actress had planned to go to court to remove her father’s name from her full name. Nevertheless, Julia still used the last name of her father Dennis in signing a contract with Viva when she transferred from Star Magic to Viva Artists Agency. The contract signing happened in September 2020 and since it is a legal document, the actress needed to sign the name that she is using in her legal docs as well.
In the case of Dennis Padilla, he recently opened up about how he talked to Gerald Anderson at the time that the issue between him and Julia Barretto circulated on social media. The concerned father stated that he directly asked Gerald whether he and Bea were still a couple, to which the former said not anymore. He then requested Gerald to defend his daughter, to which he promised that he will do so the following day through an interview. However, such an interview did not push through and when Bea was cornered by the media, she said that there was no formal breakup between her and Gerald.
