Liza is very active on social media, particularly when the topic is about social issues, which is something that almost got her into trouble with the government. A month ago, Liza was among the first to send uplifting words to Angel Locsin. This was after the latter took full responsibility for the death of the senior citizen who was lining up at the community pantry she put up. The 23-year-old actress then told Angel that there's no need for her to say sorry. Her comment, however, received backlash which prompted her to explain through tweets.

On the brighter side, the beauty of Liza attracts even foreign artists. Several weeks ago, Thai actor Mario Maurer in a virtual mediacon of TNTCON 2021 revealed that he sees Liza Soberano as girlfriend material, while he considers Bea Alonzo as merely a friend. The Thai actor appeared on the show with two other Thai stars. It was also on the show that Mario learned the Philippines’ representative to the Miss Universe 2020, Rabiya Mateo, is one of his fans. He expressed great joy upon learning that Rabiya is his fan and then proceeded to wish the beauty queen good luck.
