Lorin Gutierrez may be carving a name in the celebrity world but for her mother, Ruffa Gutierrez, she is still her daughter that needed strict monitoring and guidance.

This is what Lorin tried to convey during an interview with PUSH, where she revealed that her mom Ruffa is actually sterner and stricter than her Lola Anabelle Rama.
She said that contrary to what she’s been known before, her grandma is not a stage lola, just like when used to be a stage mom for Ruffa Gutierrez. In fact, she said her mom is more strict compared to her lola.
“Actually, out of everyone, I’d say yung mommy ko yung pinaka-strict—compared to how my lola was with my mom. Parang hindi naman siya ganoon ka-strict with me. I don’t know if it’s kasi maybe she already let out all her strictness sa mommy ko,” the young celebrity revealed.
In a report by Cosmo, Lorin was heard saying that everyone has this notion that her lola is very strict, along with the rest of her family.
“Merong common misconception na sobrang strict yung lola ko, sobrang strict yung family ko. But hindi naman ganyan. Actually, they’re pretty okay naman. They let me do own things, trust me,” Lorin told PUSH.
According to a report by Pika-Pika, Lorin was also asked if her uncles were strict and she said that while they're not that strict, they're very protective when it comes to boyfriends.
When asked what advice did her uncle, Richard Gutierrez give her, she said that he told her to be ready for the long hours of taping or shooting.
“He said there’s gonna be a lot of hard work to put into it, kasi siyempre, before my tito was working so much, he wouldn’t come home until mga 6 a.m., ganun. And he just said drink a lot of coffee and be ready for the long hours of waiting on set,” Lorin said.
Lorin said her uncle told her that showbiz a lot of hard work, long hours, and glamor is just a small part of it. Richard also told her to be prepared to wait on set for five to six hours or even more for the next take.
Richard also advised her to save money and invest wisely.
“He told me to, ‘Save your money, make wise investments. Just because you’re successful, you shouldn’t spend everything immediately,’” Lorin said.
