Kris Bernal recently took to Instagram to share how heartbroken she was at having to postpone her wedding to businessman, Perry Choi.

According to the actress, she should have been made Mrs. Choi on June 5, 2021. Unfortunately, due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, the actress had ultimately decided to postpone her nuptials.

Kris shared how she was in tears as she sent her cancellation message. She also admitted that deciding to postpone her wedding has been difficult for her.

"I remember crying so hard that day as I was having a hard time sending my cancellation message. I think it was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made but we need to prioritize the health and safety of the most important people in our lives."

However, the actress believed that everyone's safety and health are of paramount importance and should naturally be prioritized.

"Nonetheless, the important thing is, the wedding is not entirely cancelled but moved to a latter date and prioritizing the safety of everyone above anything else."

Kris' message remained hopeful as she ended it with a promise to post more of their pre-nuptial photos.
