Aga Muhlach shows love for Jollibee amid 'fried towel' issue

Aga Mulach joins actress, Anne Curtis in showing support for the popular fast-food chain, Jollibee, after the brand got embroiled in a controversy.

Just recently a complaint about a branch of the fast-food chain in Bonifacio Global City went viral. The netizen who complained about Jollibee posted a video showing what seemed to be a fried chicken but was in fact a towel. The netizen had also publicized the complaint against Jollibee BGC in Raffy Tulfo's show.

However, it seems that Aga remains faithful to the brand he has been endorsing for a very long time. In an Instagram post the actor made recently, he shared a photo of him with the mascot from Jollibee whose arm was wrapped around his shoulder as the actor beamed at the camera.

Aga also penned a sincere message thanking the brand for the joy they bring to Filipinos. The actor also expressed his continuing love and support for Jollibee.

He continued to act in lead roles in highly successful films like 'Sana Maulit Muli', 'Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal' and 'Miracle in Cell No. 7'. He married beauty queen, Charlene Gonzales on May 28, 2001.

Actress Ann Curtis has also shown her support for the fast-food chain after the issue with Jollibee's fried chicken trended on social media. In her online post, the actress reposted a photo she took with Jollibee where she held hands with Jollibee while leaning against his shoulder.

KAMI also reported that Aga and his family’s vaccination was marred by questions raised by some netizens as to whether they are qualified to receive the anti-COVID vaccines. The DILG explained that the four did not violate any guidelines and were all qualified to receive the vaccine.
