Jobert Austria recently opened up about the disappointment he felt after meeting with his biological mother, Armanda Villanueva. It was the first time the actor met the woman who gave birth to him since Armanda gave her Jobert up for adoption when he was still a child.
In a new vlog posted by Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel, the comedian shared a video of Jobert talking about his recent experience. According to the actor, his mother did not even apologize nor displayed any remorse for her actions.
“Actually, hindi siya nag-sorry. Wala siyang ano [sic] Dahil siguro may edad na siya pero, honestly, hindi ko nakita 'yung remorse"

However, Jobert noticed that his mother seems to be feeling a sense of guilt towards him as Armanda could not look him straight in the eyes.
“Pero may guilt. Nahihiya siya. Hindi siya makatingin sa akin nang diretso. Siguro gano’n naman talaga ang mga nagkakamali, ‘di ba?”
The actor also revealed that what he feared about meeting Armanda came to pass. He shared that the people around his mother are trying to capitalize on his reunion with Armanda by asking him to take responsibility for things.
"Ang problema lang nagagamit ‘yung pagkikita namin ng nanay ko, ‘di ba? Sabihin man nati’t hindi, ayon na ‘yung biglang nagkakasakit na daw siya. Hindi naman siya ang nagsabi noon. Iyong mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya."
Nevertheless, Jobert reiterated that he has forgiven his mother despite her failure to apologize to him.
