Andrea Brillantes gave a brave and inspiring interview during the “Click, Like, Share” mediacon.
KAMI learned that during the mediacon, Andrea revealed that she could relate to her character’s battle with bulimia, an eating disorder.
Furthermore, the teen star shared that she also had problems with acne breakouts which she had to hide through makeup. This issue made her feel insecure and scared to face other people.
Fortunately, the young actress was able to overcome these battles through the emotional support she gets from her family, friends and loved ones.
“Ang title ng series namin ni Nio (Tria) ay Poser kasi si Beth she struggles with bulimia nervosa. Meron siyang eating disorder kasi she was overweight before kaya nagkaroon siya ng struggles with her self-image.
“Feeling niya she’s not beautiful enough kahit she lost weight na.
