Manny Pacquiao has confirmed on social media his upcoming fight against American boxer Errol Spence Jr.

According to the Filipino boxing champ’s social media post showing "Pacquiao vs Spence” promotional poster, his fight with Spence, 31, will happen in Las Vegas in August 2021.

In a report by GMA News Online, Spence has held the IBF and WBC welterweight titles since 2017 and 2019, respectively.

As per TV5.ESPN.com’s report, Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) of Desoto, Texas, is the only unified welterweight champion, while Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs), 42, is boxing's only eight-division world champion.

Manny Pacquiao married Jinkee on May 10, 2000. They have five kids – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie) and Israel.

Pacquiao hasn't fought since he beat Keith Thurman in 2019. Pacquiao was able to defeat Thurman in their fight in MGM Grand, Las Vegas via a split decision. The Filipino legend scored a knockdown against Thurman in the first round and almost took him out of the fight in the tenth round with a body shot.
