Sunshine Garcia recently discussed on some of the challenges she faced as a first-time mom.

During her guesting in an episode of the online show “PUSH Bets Live” the actress opened up about her struggles with mastitis.
“Nagkaroon ako ng mastitis, ‘yung namaga ‘yung parang ano (breast) ko. Nagkaroon siya ng abscess ba ‘yun, parang gano’n.”
According to WebMD, Mastitis is an infection of the tissue of the breast that occurs most frequently during the time of breastfeeding. It can occur when bacteria, often from the baby's mouth, enter a milk duct.
Sunshine then went on to share how the said infection affected her.
“Pero no choice ako kasi kailangan ko pa rin magpa-latch kung saan ‘yung area na ‘yun. So ‘pag hinahawakan niya pa lang ng gano’n, umiiyak na ako. Kasi sabi ko, sobrang sakit. Sabi ko, ang gusto ko lang naman, mabigyan siya ng milk pero ang hirap, sabi ko. Para akong na-aano no’n, ‘yung konti na lang, maaaning ba ako?”

She gave birth to a baby boy in September 2018. The actress happily shared the good news in her Instagram account. The equally happy and proud daddy Alex also shared a snap of their baby and thanked everyone for the prayers for Sunshine's safe delivery.
