Luis Manzano recently did a Facebook Live where he promoted his new YouTube channel and answered questions from netizens.

One question the actor responded to was an inquiry on whether he has any political plans. After all, his celebrity mother, Vilma Santos has been successful in the world of politics.

Luis responded that he has no political plans as of yet but that he remains open to the possibility of him running for a political office in the future. He also shared that he believes that everyone has a duty to be of service to others in whatever capacity they can.

"Wala pa. Pero malay natin nakikita ko baka naman nasa horizon yan ang pagiging isang politiko. Dahil naniniwala nga ako na lahat tayo meron tayong obligation or respinsibility to serve"
"So para sa akin, hindi ko sinsara ang pinto ko sa politika."

The actor also said that the submission for candidacy for the 2022 election is on October which gave him plenty of time to consider whether he wishes to be a politician.

Luis also said that the most important question he can ask is if people trust him enough to actually vote for him in the election. Netizens expressed their support for the actor which made him quite happy.

KAMI also reported that Jessy Mendiola reacted to Alex Gonzaga's Instagram post about Luis. The actress posted a crying laughing emoji commonly known as the "rolling on the floor laughing" emoji. In the photo, Alex and Luis stood side by side donning an all-black ensemble while posing for the camera.
