A GMA News report stated that the actor has been in a relationship for seven years with a Filipino-Thai actress Junji Junpitakchai.
The report also stated that the two have not directly admitted their relationship but there have been many photos of the two of them circulating online.
Another possible reason why the two would want to keep their relationship private is that Junji has fans who are not that supportive of her "relationship" with the Thai actor.
Whenever it's the birthday of Mario, she would not fail to greet him.
Her mother, Editha Davantes, even posted in the photo with Maurer, which many people deemed was a sign of her approval.

Kuya Kim said that it’s not Rabiya but Kakai Bautista who used to admire Mario. According to Kuya Kim, Mario and his PR team treated Kakai badly.
