Toni Gonzaga, in her latest vlog with the title “What Mommy Pinty Never Wants to Talk about,” revealed that she almost died years ago.
The actress said that this is actually her second life now and that if not for the prayers of Mommy Pinty and timely intervention of doctors, she would not be here now.
Mommy Pinty, narrated that when Toni was only a one-year-old toddler, she almost died from an illness.
She said that when she and Toni’s dad, Bono, went home from church that day, they discovered Toni unresponsive with her skin slowly turning black.
“Tapos sabi sa akin, bakit ganito (kinarga) kulay, black, para kang patay na tapos ‘yung dila mo umuurong. Natakot ako tapos ibinigay kita kay mommy (Toni’s at Alex’s grandma) tapos nagkulong na ako sa kuwarto ko sa cabinet nag-pray ako roon,” Mommy Pinty recalled.
Between sobs, Mommy Pinty narrated what she prayed about. “Ang panalangin ko huwag kang kukunin. Tapos tinanggap ko na kung anong mangyayari, ipinag-pray ko kay Lord kung ano ‘yung will niya pero ang panalangin ko, mabuhay ka pa rin,” she said.
While she was being rushed to the clinic, her Daddy Bonoy kept on shouting at Toni to fight on. At the time, her head was already dangling like a rag doll.
Fortunately, prayers and timely medical intervention saved her. According to Toni, this may explain why her Mom is extra careful and sensitive when it comes to her.
