Rabiya Mateo may have one of the most memorable experiences during Miss Universe, when she fell into the pool during a shoot.
She got half of her outfit wet and she said that she almost lost her diamonds.
Thankfully, they were still intact.
Aces & Queens, the training camp of the candidates, shared video clips of the incident.
Mateo showed grace, composure and even got to laugh at the unfortunate mishap.
"A lot of things happened. First of all, I accidentally fell in the pool so I got half of my outfit wet. And then I almost lost my diamonds," she said in the clip.
Thankfully, the beauty queen was not hurt and her precious diamonds were all safe.
"I just want to let you know that the diamonds are safe. You have nothing to worry about. I just want to say thank you to Drake of Luna for letting me borrow his diamonds," said Mateo.
It could be seen in the video how she was still smiling a lot even when she already fell into the pool. She was wading through it, lifting what looked like a bag in one hand.
She also tried to wave and tell everyone that she was okay, including showing a "peace sign." Instinctively, as she was making her way out of the pool, she reached to her ears, most likely mindful of the diamonds that she mentioned.
