Rica Peralejo reacted to being mentioned by Heart Evangelista on the latter’s vlog on YouTube.

According to Rica, the video was taken in a “banyo dressing room” of the ABS-CBN program, “ASAP.”
She added that back then, many people were commenting that the two of them look alike.
Rica also shared that before the rise of Korean stars’ popularity in the Philippines, the Asian look that she and Heart have was not popular among Filipinos.

“So many of you tagged me because of Heart’s mention of me in one of her latest vlogs.
“Consequently, when I was browsing old videos I saw this. That was actually in our ASAP dressing room, some time in the early 2000s!
“We were always told na magkamukha kami, and I feel like back then hindi yung Asian looks naming dalawa ang pasok sa beauty preference ng majority ng nga Pinoys.
“Nagiba nalang yan sa infiltration of Korean materials and around the time of this video actually medyo nagbabago na. We were actually talking about Meteor Garden here — si San Chai.
“@iamhearte LOOKIE!!! Old video of us in the banyo dressing room. I listened to our convo and wow you still sound the same and you are just as lovely — if not more.
“Back then we had no idea of where we’d be today and how I would love to catch up with you one of these days! Buti nalang may vlog ka where I can stay updated and know the other sides of you I have never seen before
