Liza Soberano recently explained her viral message to Angel Locsin after it received backlash.
To recall, Liza was one of the celebrities who consoled Angel after the latter took full responsibility for the death of the senior citizen who was lining up at the community pantry she set up on her 36th birthday, April 23.
“You don’t need to say sorry ate dahil hindi mo naman ginusto ang mga nangyari. We will be praying for tatay’s soul, for his family who is mourning and for your good health and peace of mind,” Liza commented.

However, the 23-year-old actress’ comment was misunderstood by netizens which prompted Liza react.
“Many people misunderstood my comment. I meant don’t say sorry to the people demanding a sorry from her that have nothing to do with the situation. Of course it’s only right and natural for ate Angel to be sorry about the life that was lost,” she posted on Twitter.

The actress also expressed her accountability over the said incident. The said post immediately garnered a lot of comments from netizens. Most of the comments tell Angel that what happened was not her fault.
