Ethel Booba discussed with KAMI how the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is affecting her life.

According to Ethel, COVID-19 halted her career since out-of-town shows, gigs, and performances were canceled for public safety.

She shared that this inactivity has been difficult for her because she has become used to being always busy.

Fortunately, Ethel has a popular YouTube channel that allows her to work and entertain people.

“Nakakapanibago kasi sanay ako na nagtatravel lagi dahil sa mga out of town shows, halos hindi ako napipirmi sa bahay, laging trabaho, nakakabagot pero kailangan magtiis,” Ethel told KAMI.

As for her family life, Ethel said that the health crisis made it difficult for her to spend time with her mother and siblings.

It also made it impossible for her daughter, Michaela, to enjoy the outdoors with her parents.

“Sa family, sobrang nakakalungkot, dahil hindi narin kami nagkikita kita ng mother, sisters and brother ko. Lagi pa naman ako nagpapa-gathering kasi gusto ko lagi kami magkakasama kahit may mga kanya kanya ng family.
“About kay Jessie at Michaela naman, nasa-sad ako kasi hindi man lang namin ma-enjoy kay Michaela ang outside world, ang dami kong plano na puntahan para ma-experience ng bata, pero tiis-tiis pa rin,” Ethel revealed.

Ethel Booba, whose real name is Ethyl Gabison, is an actor, comedienne, and vlogger in the Philippines. Her partner is chef Jessie Salazar and they have a daughter named Michaela.

In a previous report by KAMI, Ethel shared that her baby girl was baptized in a Catholic parish. The baptism was held at the Columban Church in Olongapo City, Zambales and it was attended by close family members and friends.
